Malta is recognised as one of the most unique Catholic cultures in the world. That’s thanks to St. Paul who spent almost three months there. It’s a really small island – you can traverse it in about one hour. However, there are multiple churches that are worth to be visited. The St. Paul Shipwreck Church in Valetta and Mellieha Sanctuary of Our Lady are just the beginning of a long list. It’s strongly advisable to a pilgrim to also visit Mdina and Rabat – medieval walled cities certainly worth to see.
